- Make and manage Suspicious Activity Reports and other regulatory or law enforcement disclosures where appropriate.
- Conduct and maintain the business-wide AML/CTF risk assessment and ensure it reflects the company’s products, channels, customer base, and geographic exposure.
- Provide advice and challenge to senior management on financial crime risks, control effectiveness, and regulatory expectations.
- Oversee the design and calibration of monitoring rules, screening controls, and compliance-related operational workflows.
- Work closely with product, engineering, operations, and customer support teams to ensure new products and processes are designed with appropriate compliance controls.
- Manage AML/CTF training and awareness across the business and ensure relevant staff understand their responsibilities.
- Prepare management information, board reports, risk summaries, and compliance updates for senior leadership and governance forums.
- Support internal audits, regulatory enquiries, inspections, and reviews relating to AML, sanctions, and financial crime controls.
- Oversee relevant compliance outsourcing arrangements and third-party vendor relationships from a financial crime perspective.

- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence teams across compliance, operations, product, and leadership.
- Relevant compliance, AML, or financial crime qualifications are desirable but not mandatory where equivalent experience is demonstrated.
